MAKING ANZAC
BISCUITS
In Term 1 and 2 we studied the ANZACs. We spent a lot of time learning about our ANZAC soldiers and Gallipoli. One thing we really focused on was how we remember the ANZACs today, and why it is so i
mportant for us to keep doing so.
We realised that we remember our soldiers through music, poetry, stories, songs, memorials, ANZAC services, medals, diaries and films.
One of the main symbols that we kept seeing in our ANZAC stories and reading books was the ANZAC biscuit. As a part of our study we visited the Home Ec room and made our own ANZAC biscuits. It was a lot of fun and the biscuits turned out great!!!
